(Corrects first paragraph to ... migration to the X86-based Linux server ..., not ... migration to Dell)
TOKYO, March 24 (Reuters) - Dell Inc's (DELL.O) chief executive Michael Dell said rumours of IBM (IBM.N) possibly buying Sun Microsystems (JAVA.O) were creating an "enormous opportunity" for Dell because uncertainty over the future of Sun's Solaris-based servers accelerates a customer migration to X86-based Linux server, which is Dell's mainstay product.
Dell, the world's No. 2 PC maker, also said in Tokyo that the company was exploring the business of smaller screen devices. (Reporting by Sachi Izumi)
